Meet the dolphins

Delfinia Cove is signposted on the way from Kardamili to Stoupa.  The cove with clear, cobalt water is sheltered by magical greenery. Delfinia beach is a mix of sand and pebbles and the rocky cliffs curve around the beach, make it looks like a secret hidden paradise.

Due to its calmed waters, Delfinia beach is ideal for swimming. Also, the  ornate underwater rock formation, the thriving marine life and the remains of the small boat wreck in the middle of the cove makes Delfinia beach the perfect destination for diving lovers.

On the northern part of Delfinia cove there is a cave, known as the ‘Polyora’s cave’. You can reach the spot only by swimming but.. it really worths it! The stalagmites inside the cave combined with the golden sand makes the scenery incredible.

Delifinia cove is 4.5 km after Kardamili on the way to Stoupa or 3 km away from Stoupa. You have to cross a dirt road and then walk a few meters till the beach. During August or summer weekends, it’s better to park on the big lot by the main road and walk till the beach.

Delfinia means ‘dolphins’ and refers to occasional ‘visits’ of dolphins in the area.
