Last but not least, the legendary church of Saint Theodora with the 17 trees growing on its roof.    

Only 5 km to the south is the quaint village of Kalo Nero, which is situated by the sea with developed infrastructure such as sea food restaurants, traditional taverns and cafes.

A further 5Km to the south you will find the town of Kyparissia. This is the main shopping, and entertainment place of the area. Kyparissia lies from the mountain till the waters of Ionion Sea.

An evening visit at the picturesque Old Town of Kyparissia with cobblestone walkways the castle and the wonderful old houses. From castle you can watch the sunset and observe the whole area. Be ready for a gastronomical experience on the nearby taverns. The car parking is an issue during rush hours.

Don’t miss the authentic Messinian experience of Kopanaki’s Sunday market where local farmers trading their own produce and livestock.
